Phenyl is a phenolic disinfectant floor cleaner. Black phenyl is a concentrate of tar acid oils emulsified with a rosin soap; white phenyl is a milky emulsion based on pine oil and phenolic compounds. Indian specification is IS 1061 with Rideal-Walker (RW) coefficient as the key strength measure.
